Chicago Loop Alliance has officially launched their latest promotional initiative Winter WonderLoop at a media launch event held under the marquee of the Oriental Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 5. The event launched CLA’s Winter WonderLoop campaign and revealed the Shedd Aquarium’s Fantasea Streetscape installation on State Street.
"Presenters" at the event included two Magellanic penguins from Shedd Aquarium; Lou Raizin, CLA’s board chairman; Ty Tabing, CLA’s executive director; Jan Kostner, Deputy Director at the Illinois Bureau of Tourism and Mike Delfini, Sr. Vice President of Planning and Design at Shedd Aquarium.
Local coverage included ABC, CBS, NBC, WTTW and the Chicago Sun-Times as well as coverage in national news outlets. Cumulatively, the Winter WonderLoop launch received over 2,075,695 media impressions.
